Over a period of 8 weekly online group sessions, learners will learn proven recovery practices and supportive tools, to help them progress on their recovery journey. Learners will learn how to accelerate recovery utilizing self-care, hope and purpose, and control and connection.

  • Catching unhelpful thinking styles

Week #5 (Sessions #5 and #6):

  • Using the balanced thought method
  • Monitoring thoughts, activity and mood
  • Good Days and Bad Days
  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) (Brief Overview)
  • Purpose, Control & Connection

Week 6 (Session #7):

  • Anxiety – causes and solutions
  • Tools to reduce worry

Week #7 (Session #8 and #9):

  • Creating the Life You Want
  • Setting Meaningful Goals
  • Action Planning to achieve goals
  • Skills and support systems for recovery

  • Review of practices covered
  • Graduation and Feedback
