See Me, Not My Illness Campaign Kickoff – Schizophrenia Society of Alberta

See Me.

Not My Illness.

A wish from the 44,000 Albertans living with schizophrenia.

1 in 100 people live with schizophrenia worldwide and yet, there is still a huge stigma around this disorder.

Show your support for those living with schizophrenia, while enjoying a virtual live stream of our campaign kickoff, making it possible for everyone to join from the comfort of their home! This inspirational evening includes a concert from Country Music Artist, Gord Bamford; and an inspirational key note address from mental health advocate and former NHL player, Sheldon Kennedy; and Leif Gregerson, sharing his personal story of living with schizophrenia.

Tickets are $50 per person + $3.60 processing fee. Purchasing a ticket will automatically enter you in a draw for a $500 West Jet gift card! *Must be 18 + years of age to enter in the draw*

Busy that night? We would still love your support by donating or bidding in our online timed auction, if you’re able to contribute to this worthy cause!

See Me, Not My Illness is the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta’s main fundraiser of the year with a goal to raise $125,000 toward our vital programs which are available through our 6 branches, 3 supportive housing programs and online/over the phone.
